Cleanliness of bathrooms
Hey people am I the only one or are the bathrooms in our schools GROSS? well for one i think they are disgusting with all the vandalism and balled up toilet paper everywhere.OMG!!!!! I don't understand why people don't respect the only place that they are given that should be as clean as we can leavee it. and no it is not the janitors fault!!!!!! It is ours for not being glad that we have a bathroom and that we don't have to go into an outhouse or something like that people count your blessings and treat them as if that was the only thing you had.

Cleanliness of bathrooms
Ours used to be bad with grafity all over (oh my gosh, it was just... horrible )
but then, I went in it after the summer and they had sprayed black paint all over all the grafity (I bet I spelled that wrong) and I was like 'YES'
Ask for something like that
Re: Cleanliness of bathrooms
you're right that the problem is not with the janitorial staff. the problems all arise form the students. the students are the ones that put grafiti on the walls and then complain how disgusting it is the most. the school does lok fine after the summer but the kids just ruin it. our bathrooms have gotten better after the national art honor society did a mural in the bathroom. maybe you should try that?
Re: Cleanliness of bathrooms
I agree. While sometimes they aren't cleaned as much as they should be, meaning toilet paper not replaced, soap empy, etc, most of the problems are due to students. So, the best solution to is to figure out a way to make students respectful. If you let students make them nice (mural is a great idea), they'll be less likely to destroy it.
Re: Cleanliness of bathrooms
Yea...I agree bathrooms are nasty at my school. The thing i dont understand is how so many kids complain that the bathrooms are gross and yet they keep writing stuff in the stalls. If i was a costodian i wouldnt want to clean up after kids who mess up the bathrooms. The point is STOP writing on stalls and maybe the bathrooms will and appear cleaner.
Re: Cleanliness of bathrooms
I agree that most problems are due to students. In my old middle school, kids use to take paper towels and wet them, and stick them to the stalls. While the custodians may try their hardest, the kids are usually the ones that are causing them all mess.
