We need to have 6 period days on an COLOR SCHEDULE.
I know that most students are against the ABC day rotation but I think I found a way to rsulve the problem while still having the ABC shedule.
ADAY ex. Blue BDAY ex. Red
1st PD. English 1st PD. Forigen Language (Then there'd be
2nd PD. Math 2nd Pd. Math three electives
3rd PD. Science 3rd PD. Science for us to take at
4th PD. History 4th PD. History the end of the
Free Period Free Period day and gym on a
green day.)
So as you can see the six period day will have many benifits such as...
- Periods who be cut down 30 min to 56min periods.
- We'd still have a four minute transition and 25 min of lunch.
- Most kids are involved in sports and Free Period would give them time to do homework and study so your not rushimg for your 5 o'clock baseball practice.
- There are also many more that we'll made our day so much easier.

I could live with that but personally I like what Sage said about the 7 period days. Then you wouldn't have to worry about the ABC rotation!

I personally think Middle Schools should Have a 7 period day rather than 6 :lol: Our 4 period days just feel so long.86 minutes is an hour and 26 minutes, the middle schoolers mind span is only 30 minutes to 40 minutes long the classes are almost twice of what we can really listen to our teachers have to teach us.And thats why I think we should have a 7 period day. :eusaclap:

Do you like what the new schedule is for next year? I love it, it gives them less time in class and more electives...

absolutly!!! i am soo glad they came up with this but i hate to bust your bubble but it hasnt been finalized so if you want to write a letter to the dude or dudett in charge of finalizing it talk to collin [smob] to get his info. but i am in full support of it andd cant wait to see the effect.
