But if we had 8 periods, we would have less time in each class, which would leave very little time for assesments. In addition, we would have to wear tennis shoes every day for P.E., wash our uniforms every night and have them ready for school, AND complete a LOT of homework. Not my idea of fun.

Moya Moya Moya If you have shorter class periods than you dont spend as much time sweating so you only have to wash it every 2 days or somthing.

[i]Still,[/i]you'd have to do gym every day,bring whatever instrument you play every day, etc. We would be totally and utterly exhausted! Not to mention even more sick of those nasty gym uniforms...

Ewwwwwwwwwwww............every three days is plenty, Miss Athletic!!! Besides, wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the 8-period schedule?

Well, an 8 period day would roughly have 45 minute periods:

1 Math
2-3 Double Language Arts
4 Social Studies
5 Science
6 Elective 1
7 Elective 2
8 Elective 3

Another option, is to have 4 periods, but only A-B days:

A DAY
1 Language Arts
2 Math
3 Social Studies
4 Elective 1

B DAY
1 Language Arts
2 Science
3 History(or something)/Elective2
4 Elective 3

Either way, you essentially have more language arts than anything else.

What if you take a foreign language? Would you replace a Language Arts class with foreign language? :oops:

I think it's rediculese to have a four period day your cramped up in an 18 by 20 foot room for 86 minutes it seems the only reason I come to school anymore is beacuse of my love for SGA.
