im in this group called N.C.B.I at Chesapeake High School and it has tought me how to help others when in need and how to stop a fight when one was beggining to start without calling an adult

i tihnk they every school should get this program a.s.a.p it has helped cut down our fights at ChS and i think that it would help every school in the the U.S.A

i guess so at least there will probably be less fights this year we've already had three to five fights

I agree that having friendships will make schools a more peaceful enviornment. i disagree with squirtsowner original comment because having more authority figures won't help make friends. It sounds as though you want the figures to force friendship which will bring peace among the land.

Reggie make a good point not everyone will get along with everyone else. It conflict, but conflict is unavoidable and necssary (at times) but step can be takien to minimize the severity and/or number of conflicts.

You know what I think, I think it doesn't matter how much authority there is in school. I nearly got beaten up myself for trying to stop a fight! My friend and this guy were going at it and I being my little naive self actually got between the two guys and told to them to stop. Then this girl who was my friends friend got in my face telling me if I didn't stop getting in the way she was going to really hurt me. I went to tell an "authority" figure and it took him 5 minutes to get to the fight because he talking to a classmate of mine. The "authority" in our school systems don't care about the victims in these little fights, all they care about are the fighters and how we (the ones who are just trying to survive high school) should stop provoking the fighters. "Provoking" I guess that just means that the ones trying to do some good should just shut up and wait for the "fighters" to drop out because that's the only time we are ever going to all just be friends!
