I and I

Independence and intervention is something new we have been doing at Chesapeake this year. After the first few weeks of school you get seperated into the kids who have a 80% and above have independence and have social/study time during the day and for those who don't have an extra time with the teacher....

Does anyone have any opinions on this? I thought that most kids would love I & I because even if you had intervention you would be stuck in a classroom anyway and you have a chance for independence. However, some kids I talked to say they don't like it very much. Does anyone here have an opinion on this?

Can you explain this fully from both sides please?

ryu: I & I is a 25 minute period that all students have in CHS. Those students that have and A or B in the designated period of that day have independence and can go to the cafeteria or study hall. Students with a C or less must stay in class for remedial help.
