halloween at my school is tolerated to a degree but isn't encouraged. I mean if someone had a slight costume(ex:a hippie) the school wouldn't care, or for example, i had on cat ears, and thats it. the administration didnt care. but no major costumes like a fairies. with wings and wands. I think it should stay that way for high schools. costumes would just distract kids. especially since homecoming festivities are usually somewhere around halloween
