Fights

Fights in some middle schools are ridiculous! In my school if you went up to somebody and asked them if they heard about the fight they have to ask which one. it is not like the fights are happening when there are no teachers around though. a couple of weeks a go there was a fight in the cafeteria at lunch with about 4 teachers around and 2 administrators. a cop is at our school every day and still nothing has happenedto the amount of fights happening. no wait excuse me something has happened to the number of fights happening, they have gone up. I'm not going to just sit here and complain don't worry. to fix this we need to bump up the security in the schools, and the punishment for fighting needs to be raised.

Since last year at CBMS we actually have gone down on the # of fights! In 7th grade I got so tired of the same people getting picked on I had to stop at least 8 fights during school. a few of them I could talk the instigator out of beating on the "geek" but a few I actually had to pull them off of each other. Now I have seen about 2 fights (and heard about) this year. we also got a cop and although it might just be a coincidense it seems to have worked! :eusaclap:

we have a cop too but it hasn't helped anything

One of the things is, if 2 people want to fight sometimes you really can't stop them. At my old school we also had a cop, and I can't really tell if he helped or not. Hopefully, one of the things that helps prevent fights are things like peer mediation and Guidance.

Fighting is onr of the five fs that consist as our instincts as human beings so there relly is nothing that the school system to do about it unless they want to reprogram our brians and in my opinion that would take a lot of funding! :D

Okay this whole fighting

Okay this whole fighting thing will never actually stop you really can't stop many people from fight but sometimes you could get lucky and find someone who will take your advice. About the whole having a cop not having a cop in school I'm in the 8th grade since I started my school in 6th grade we have never had a cop stay at our school through out the day but we still have fights. In 6th grade there were maybe 6 fights, in 7th maybe 4, and in 8th there have already been about 10 so I believe the number of fights have nothing to do with cops being in the schools

I don't think having a police officer in the school will stop the fights. I don't think anything can stop fights. Just suspending people won't make them learn anything. I am only in the 6th grade and there was a huge fight before winter break. The two kids got suspeneded but they are still going to fight. I don't think you can just stop fighting.
