well i don't like the scheduling at my school. we have A, B, and C days (alternating encore classes) AND white & blue days where you switch science & soc. studies classes every other day. i think we would get a better education in those subjects if we had one per semester. that way you can concentrate on one subject at a time. for the encore classes, we should have shorted than 86 minute periods and have all classes every day. having gym every day is good for your health, and to give more time in the shcoolday we can eliminate power black/ MSA prep classes. they're teaching us "how to take a test", and not teaching us the vocabulary and information that we need to do good on the test. we're in middle school, i think we know not to talk during an MSA. that's really third-grade of the school system. they stress it too much. if we're failing the MSA, it's not b/c we were talking, it's b/c we didn't understand the questions, so teach us the stuff that's on the test, not how to take it. the school schedule at my school really bothers me, and i want to actually do something about it.
Re: Science and Social Studies

Re: Science and Social Studies
Those are good ideas, but this is the elementary section. make sure you find a middle school forum to post this in.
