drinks and sncks in the class rooms

alot of people want to bring drinks and snacks in there classes but some schools don't let us  particully I think that that's just dumb if we buy it with our own money we should be alowed to do what we want with it as long as it's school apporiate I mean it's just not fair that the teachers can drink sodas and we can't in school!!!

i know right some teachers can be real jerks about the rules it makes me really mad

drinks and sncks in the class rooms

I like the idea of drinks in the classrooms but not candy.

To sticky and *shrugs* I just don't think candy is a good idea

But having water would be a start
At my school you have to drink it all on the spot once you open it
I think that's pretty dumb

We should totally be able to eat and drink in class.
I think that we could buy the snacks at schools
only if it's not possible to bring the snacks

the thing with this though, is if you were to get it oon something, like the person infront of you, or your books, or just on the floor

I'd be to big of a mess

last year in 6th grade we could bring cookies chips gatorade and water as long as it wasn't a mess but this year were not aloud. BUMMER!

i think its a good idea

Re: drinks and sncks in the class rooms

I think that we should be able to have something to drink or to eat something beacuse classes are an hour and a half long i get hungry and tristy alot and something like a twix candy bar or a gatorade could keep me up and focused in class because when i do not eat or have any thing to drink for awhile i start to get tired

Re: drinks and sncks in the class rooms

Ok at my school(OLD MILL HIGH SCHOOL) we are allowed to have food unless the teacher specifies not to. And when students bring the food it is alright. But not everyone are perfect angels as we all hope. There are a lot of people who are ignorant and decide to leave their trash everywhere, and there is food everywhere and it is just difficult. But i think there should be able to be drinks and food only if it is leftover from lunch or a party(basically with limitations.)

Allowing drinks and snacks into classrooms

Ok, at Severna Park High (preppy, I know), a majority of the teachers don't mind the food as long as you clean up after yourself neatly. However, many teachers are the complete opposite because they are concerned about the attraction of mice and other vermin. I understand why they won't let us bring sweets and drinks, but they should lift the restraints around holidays and periods near breaks. If I could make the rules, I would say students are allowed to consume drinks and sweets as long as it's nothing extreme like a slice of cake or a dozen cookies. The snacks can simply a pack of peanut buttter crackers or a cheese stick. Some teachers I know won't even let the students in my class even drink water because they're afraid that it would attract mosquitoes due to standing water, but they tell us this in the winter. I don't believe that teachers should restrict students so that they can't even drink water, but they need to bring up the wall somedays especially near cold and flu season because hydration is necessary.
